Super Hexagon (and other Humble Indie Bundle stuff

So the Humble Indie Bundle released another Humble Android Bundle today (their fifth one so far). The games in the bundle are Beat Hazard Ultra, Dynamite Jack, Solar 2, and Night Sky HD. If you pay more than the average ($6.65 US at the time of writing), you get Super Hexagon and Dungeon Defenders + All DLC.

Now, I've played Dungeon Defenders before, and I really enjoy the game. When I realized that it was on Android, which is my preferred mobile platform, I jumped on the game, even though I've already purchased it. It's well worth it. My only gripe about the game is that it has to download a ton of data onto your phone, so unless you have a decent wifi connection and a beefy internal storage device on your phone, good luck playing it. I've had it downloading for quite a while now and it seems to be simply sitting there, not moving.

Super Hexagon is fucking insane. And I'm not talking about "the impossible game" insane. I'm talking full-blown how-do-I-even-beat-this insane. I've only gotten to the Square level (level 4) on the easiest difficulty, which is labeled as "Hard." So unless you like painstaking games that are really addictive, minimalistic, and make you shout at your phone/computer/Xbox (because its on Xbox for some reason), I recommend shoving the executable at your younger brother to play.

Beat Hazard is a game of its own style, using your personal music to fuel the levels, which are randomly generated by the music you're playing. Each song is a new level, and its just... I'm having a loss of words, though its 3 in the morning, so anyone would have trouble. Just play this game. Worth it.

Dynamite Jack is... I don't even want to describe it. I didn't like it.

Solar 2 is an interesting game, but I played it on my phone, not my PC. It has nothing to do with an under-powered device, but the controls are a bit clunky. But it's a fun game, as I've seen others playing it.

Night Sky is in the same box with Dynamite Jack. It's interesting, but not really my kind of game.
